You love being a mother.
You just miss feeling like yourself.
From the outside, you look like you’re handling it all. But inside, something feels quietly off, like you’ve been so busy taking care of everyone else that you’ve lost track of yourself somewhere alone the way.
That is not a personal failure. That is what happens when a deeply capable, devoted woman forgets that she is allowed to matter too.
SHE LOOKS FINE. SHE ISN’T
This is for the mother who holds everything together and quietly wonders when someone will ask how she’s doing.
You're capable. You're caring. You show up for your family without question. People probably describe you as someone who does it all; and from the outside, that's exactly what it looks like.
But internally? You're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix. You feel disconnected from yourself, from what you want, what you need, who you even are outside of being someone's mother.
What you're craving isn't a productivity system or a morning routine. It's permission to matter. Space to finally breathe. Support that actually sees you, not just your role.
You are carrying an invisible load that most people around you cannot see and you have been carrying it alone for far too long.
Does this sound like you?
"I'm always the one holding everything together."
"I want to feel like me again but I'm not sure who that is anymore."
"I thought I'd feel different by now."
"I feel guilty taking time for myself."
"I'm constantly overwhelmed and I don't know how to make it stop."
"I'm surviving but I'm not really living."
If you nodded at even one of those…you're in exactly the right place.
WHAT I DO
I support mothers through the emotional and identity shifts of motherhood; helping them care for themselves alongside caring for their families.
I'm Caroline Kalicki, a postpartum and motherhood coach and mother of two daughters. I created Mother Hen Coaching because I know firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself while pouring everything into everyone else.
My work is not about routines, weight loss, or going back to who you were before motherhood. It is about helping you discover who you are becoming, feel grounded in your own life again, and show up in motherhood in a way that actually feels like you.
You do not have to have it figured out to be here. You just have to be ready to stop putting yourself last.
My work lives at the intersection of identity, emotional wellness, self-worth, nervous system support, and sustainable motherhood, because that is where the real transformation lives.
HOW I HELP
This is the work we do together.
I work with mothers from the postpartum period through the early years, women
who are in the thick of it and ready to stop running on empty.
Rebuild trust with yourself
Navigate the identity shifts of motherhood
Quiet the negative self-talk that keeps you small
Prioritize yourself without the guilt spiral
Regulate stress and emotional overload
Rediscover what lights you up outside of caregiving
Feel more confident in yourself
Create sustainable wellness habits that support you
Move from survival mode into intentional motherhood
The transformation I help create is often less about dramatic external change and more about helping a mother come home to herself again.
WHAT I BELIEVE
What I know to be true about you, about motherhood, and about what you deserve.
Losing yourself in motherhood is not a personal failure.
It's what happens when we love deeply, give generously, and forget that we're allowed to be on the receiving end too.
Whether you're in the newborn haze or a few years in, if you've lost yourself, you deserve support.
Feeling lost in motherhood doesn't follow a schedule. Whenever it shows up for you, it's valid.
You are allowed to matter alongside your children.
Not instead of them. Not after them. Alongside them. Your needs are not a distraction from motherhood, they are part of it.
Asking for help is not weakness. It's the bravest thing a mother can do.
You have been figuring it out alone long enough. There is no prize for that. There is however a better way.
Motherhood can be beautiful and hard at the exact same time.
You don't have to choose between loving your life and wishing parts of it felt different. Both are true. Both are allowed.
The woman you were is still in there.
Not necessarily who you were before motherhood, but a version of you that feels grounded, alive, confident, and whole.
